おさめる【納める･収める】

1 〔奉納する〕 dedicate 《a lantern to the shrine》; make an offering of 《a barrel of sake to the gods》; offer (up) 《a gift of money to the temple》; perform 《a dance》 in honor of 《the deity》.

●神社へ額を納める set up a votive tablet at a shrine

・神楽を神社に納めて一年の安泰を祈願する儀式 a ceremony in which a sacred dance and sacred music is performed in the shrine, and prayers are offered for the well-being of the village [nation] in the year to come.

●亡き父の遺品は寺に納めて供養してもらうことにした. We presented [offered] our late father's possessions to the temple and asked them to pray for his soul.
